Are U GaMe EnoUgh to StaRT the SpIRit of EnTrEprENueRShip??

From this week onwards, every monday at 8.30pm at Channel U, there is this show called "Taking off". This show is sponsored by ACE (Action Community for Entreprenuership) .

In every episode, the host will interview 3 entreprenuers and ask them questions like: -

- what inspires them to start their business?

- how long they plan before they start their business?

- what aspects of the business they need careful considerations?

- what problems they face?

- how much is their capital?

- etc.

Every week, they will focus on one industry. Yesterday episode is on the food industry. Next week episode is on the fashion industry.

Through this show, you get to learn from these entreprenuers what are the important aspects they consider for their business. This show is a good learning ground for those budding entrepreneurs and those people who want to start their own business.

Being an entrepreneur of your own, your job satisfaction will be much more greater than being an employee working for others. As an employee, your effort being put in may not be recognised or you are not being paid accordingly to the effort you put in. On top of that, you may even need to deal with the office politics which your company may have.

However, being your own boss, you make all the decisions for your business and you can witness the growth of your company. When your business take off and become stabilised, you will have a lot of satisfaction when you see profits keep on rolling in. You also help other families too by offering a job to your staff. On top of that, with your profits, you can do charitable causes for those who are in need. So both parties benefit - you yourself and the society.

Of cos, being your own boss, there are risks involved too, such as lost of capital if the business is not successful, lost of stable income for yourself, making wrong decisions for the company, the business does not have sufficient customers, etc.

Because of all these risks involved, many people are very reserved when it comes to entreprenuership. They prefer the easy way out and become an employee and be unhappy as it is not what they wanted.

But as a saying goes "No pain, No gain". "Failure is the mother of success".

If we dont try, how do we know that we cant do it? If we dont try, how do we know that we will not going to be successful? Do you want to lead a life with lots of complaints and unhappiness about your work? Or do you want to lead a fulfilling life to see your company growing and growing, even if you meet obstacles along the way?

'Its the first step that is the hardest to make, but once you make the first step, the rest of the steps will be easy to make'.

'Only through mistakes, then we get to learnt. So be prepared for it and learnt from it'.

'FEAR - False Evidence Appearing Real. So dont have fear in you, remove the fear and Just Do It.'

So what are you waiting for?

If being an entrepreneur is your dream and your goal, make your first step and GO FOR IT!

Opportunities are in your hand. Its up to you to hold it tight or let it go.

Take action now for yourself and contribute to the society.

If there is no entrepreneur, there will be no jobs created and the economy will also be affected.

Can you see how important are you?

So dont wait any further and make your first move!!!
